Pallet Management Software for OpenCNC

The benefit of running a machine with multiple pallets is reduced set-up and part loading time.  Instead of waiting for the current program to finish, the operator can load the next part while the machine is in cycle.  

PalletQ is an added feature that makes life easy on the operator by linking each pallet to a part program and setting the order in which the jobs are run. . . . 

    1) Load the next part on an unused pallet

    2) Assign a part program for that pallet, using the PalletQ set up screen

    3) Set the     Run Order     of the pallets

When the current part program is finished, PalletQ will load the next part program file, fixture offset file, tool offset file, and then instruct the PLC which pallet to automatically load.  

Without a pallet management system, the operator has to baby-sit the machine and wait right there at the moment the part finishes.  Then he has to load all of the files manually, before going back into run mode.  PalletQ requires a minimum of input from the operator and keeps the machine continuously cutting.
