Product Description:  Used to interface between the controller I/O circuits and the machine external devices, this is a pre-built modular panel that mounts on standard angle bracketing for installation to the machine.  It includes wireway, mounting hardware, documentation, (2) 24 point Opto22 style I/O racks, (2) 1A-WRC-2Cx cables, (48) I/O modules, and (8) 6 position common jumpers.

 

A Superior Choice!:  These panels have many advantages over the standard 24 I/O racks.

How Modular Panels Work: 

Our modular panel system allows you to easily mix and match hardware as needed.  First, pieces of standard angle bracket are cut to length to match the available space in the machine electrical cabinet.  Then panels are added in any combination needed.  

 

For example, you may piece together a 1A-VIGPCI Encoder/DAC panel, two 1A-WRC-R48 I/O Rack panels, and a 1A-PS524 Power Supply panel, to create a whole modular machine control.

 

Pre-cut lengths of 1 or 2" wireway are affixed to the modular panels, so that when they are stacked side by side the wires are routed neatly and uniformly.

 

Modular panels can be stacked side by side or end to end in any orientation that works best for a particular control cabinet.

How To Order: 

When placing an order, please use the following chart to derive the correct part number.  Write down the Base Part Number, but omit the lower case 'x' wherever it appears.  Then select the Desired Option that you want, and fill in the corresponding Part Number Code.

EXAMPLE: Order part number 1A-WRC-R48-15-1-24-8-C4, for a rack with (15) 24Vdc inputs, (1) 110Vac input, (24) 110Vac Outputs, (8) Relay outputs, and 4' (1,219mm) cable lengths.

TECHNICAL HINTS:  I/O modules must add up to a count of (48) total in the part number created.  Also note that the standard machine control configuration requires that the total number of inputs and total number of outputs are grouped in even blocks of 8.  

We strongly recommend against using 24Vdc output modules, and therefore have not listed them in our part numbering options.

Input Power  Requires external +5Vdc source, because W1 jumpers are cut during assembly.

Terms, Conditions, and Warranty

Angle bracket hardware is not included and must be ordered separately (part #1A-MOD-AB).  I/O modules are included, but are not populated on the board.  A 90 day direct replacement warranty applies for any manufacturing defect, starting from Ampion ship date.
